Work on Saturdays? Never able to make our normal Public Tour? Well, Thursday is your lucky day! Join Plant Chicago for our monthly Thursday Evening Public Tour of The Plant.
Explore the circular economy in action within the 20 different food businesses housed in the building. Discuss what a closed-loop model means for the planet, The Plant, and the future economy. On the tour, you’ll see Plant Chicago’s aquaponic system, Pleasant House Bakery, the Whiner Beer taproom, outdoor farms, chickens and more.
Tickets are $7/student/senior (65+), $10/adult, and free for Back of the Yards residents (60609 zip). Unfortunately, there is no passenger elevator in the building. If you or another attendee cannot do stairs (there are a lot of stairs in this building) please contact us in advance of your tour at firstname.lastname@example.org or via telephone (773) 847-5523 so we can arrange to use the freight elevator.
Closed toe shoes are required. If you like beers, and are 21+, the Whiner Beer Taproom will be open this Thursday from 2-10 pm.
