Join Oscar & Jackie Narvaez of The Chunky Scones for our 2nd vegan baking workshop with Plant Chicago!
The workshop will cover how to make concha dough and toppings from scratch, and everything else you need to know to make your own vegan conchas at home. Each participant will learn how to mix dough, shape conchas, and make the topping. At the end of this hands-on workshop, attendees will get a chance to bake their conchas and sample all their hard work!
Everyone will go home with the vegan concha recipe, pre-made dough, and other ingredients needed to make up to six conchas at home. Please bring your own mixing bowl, spatula, and apron!
The Chunky Scones is a small batch artisan bakery and food company that has been serving Chicagoland since 2015. Their aim is to satisfy the palates of vegans and non-vegans alike one bite at the time. They specialize in delightfully vegan food – free of artificial ingredients, dyes or preservatives, and strive to use local and organic ingredients whenever available.
