Join Amanda McLemore of Baguette & Butter to learn about five essential preserving methods, how they nourish you, and how using them can help mend the earth.
In this 1.5-hour course, Amanda will cover a variety of methods to preserve the harvest, including fermentation, dehydration, freezing, sugar-free preserving, and salt curing. These five methods will be used during the class to demonstrate how to make mustard, tea blends, seasonal preserves, and Himalayan salt-cured lemons from scratch at home.
After watching the recipe demonstrations, participants will be able to try samples of the products with some delicious local bread. All attendees will receive the recipes taught in this course as a digital printable e-book.
About the Instructor
In 2016 Amanda McLemore gave up the grocery store to learn how to better connect with the local food grown around her. Through this process, she’s learned not only a better connection to where her food comes from but as well a better understanding of her health and herself.
Baguette & Butter was founded to nourish a community that cultivates abundance through cooking, eating and intentional living. At Baguette & Butter, we teach virtual Cooking With Intention courses and host special live events and workshops.
