INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Plant Chicago interns are instrumental to the fulfillment of our mission. While interning with the organization, you will assist with day to day operations while learning to cultivate local circular economies and exploring the ins and outs of your chosen program area. 

We host a variety of internships that can be tailored to fit the interests and career ambitions of the individual. Upon reaching out to our team, you will be matched with a staff member whose program area best aligns with your goals for the internship experience. Topics include but are not limited to: Small Business Support, Growing Systems, Food Access & Farmers Market, Education, and Communications.

Plant Chicago is not a proponent of free labor - while our internship programs have been designed to prioritize the intern's professional development, we encourage all applicants to pursue school credit and / or supplemental funding. Plant Chicago can provide travel stipends.
